Iam new at this. This will be my first time to blog.
Here goes.
I am a wife - mother - grandmother - and ---- a great-grandmother!!!
My name is Carol and my husband is Glen. We have three sons--Glen Jr. - Jim - Matthew.
Glen Jr is no longer with us. He passed on April 11th of 2006. As it grows closer to that date I have found myself to be more down than usual. We are Christians so God has been a great comfort to us. Still we grieve and miss him.
Jim just got out of the Army after 16 and 1/5 years and is a single father with one 16 year old son living with him. His other son has a home close and has 2 children.
Matt also lives close and has one son , 11, who has Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy.
Glen had two children -- Glen the Third who is now 23 and Brittany who would be 16 now.
She died of sids at the age of 4 1/5 months old.
So we have 4 grandsons living and 1 great-grandson and I great-granddaughter. They are a joy to us and we love them very much.
Today as I write this I am iced in. We have had ice and sleet for the last two nights and days. Since we live on a private road it only gets cleaned when the men are able to do it. Thus I have been off work for Two days now. But that is ok---I have been stamping and making cards for a swap. I am a StampinUp Demo and I love to make cards and scrapbook.
Matt is a photographer and I get lots of photos to scrap. ( I also love to take pictures of our family and church family ) so I keep really busy.
